LOVE

Maybe you believe that love is the energy from which the very universe is made. Or maybe you believe that love evolved as a mechanism to encourage mammals to care for their young and for one another. Whatever love is, we know it connects and empowers us, while the absence or loss of love is a source of trauma.

Love is what makes us compassionate. It motivates us to do things that aren’t necessarily for our immediate personal benefit, but that are beneficial for others and for our communities.

In order for humanity to cooperate on a global scale, we must love one another—not despite, but because of our differences.
